What you can expect

Set off from Paihia or Russell and cruise through the spectacular Bay of Islands, home to 144 islands, secluded beaches and abundant marine life. Your local skipper will share stories of the region's history and culture as you journey past the towering cliffs of Cape Brett and, when conditions allow, through the famous Hole in the Rock on Motukōkako. Keep watch for dolphins, seals, seabirds and even whales in these protected waters.

Enjoy a 1.5-hour stop at Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island, where you can swim from the sandy beach, relax with a meal or drink at the licensed café, or visit the Island Conservation Centre. Morning cruise passengers can extend their island stay at no additional cost, making it easy to spend even more time exploring this remarkable part of Northland.
