What you can expect
Parasailing is the ultimate way to view the stunning Bay of Islands. Jump on board the specialised parasail boat for an experience of a lifetime, soaring above the tranquil blue waters of Paihia, Russell and the Bay of Islands. Choose to fly on your own, with a friend in tandem or even with the whole family on a triple flight. Your flight will be 1,300 feet high in the sky, no one else flies you higher for 360 degree views and don't forget to keep an eye out for Dolphins!

What you need to know
- 12 minute flight with amazing views over the bay
- Up to 1 hour on the powerboat depending on the number of flyers
- Hotel transfers
- Allow 1hr from Paihia Wharf
- 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm & 3.30pm
- Departs from Paihia Wharf
- Operates daily all year
- Child rates apply (5 - 14yrs)
- Small children will need to fly with an adult
- Maximum combined weight for tandem & triple flights is 240kg
- Dress for the weather, remembering it can be cold in winter when you are being towed 1,200ft in the air behind a boat
- Observers are welcome (for an additional cost)
- We recommend you bring with you sunglasses, hat, sunscreen & a small towel
