Location
Take a spectacular 40 minute Jet Boat Ride along the Kawarau River to discover the Kawarau Gorge and the history of the region. Enjoy all the thrills, twists, turns and 360 degree spins as you navigate up and down the river!
The jet boat ride zips past sheer rock cliff faces, giant boulders and into the shallower waters of Bannokburn. After viewing the beautiful Kawarau Gorge, the ride then speeds to the mighty ‘Staircase’ Rapid before finishing the journey with some fun 360 degree spins.
The Kawarau Gorge is located 40 minutes drive from Queenstown to the historic gold mining town. Jet boating tours depart daily at 11 am or 2pm which make it a great morning or afternoon activity to add to your itinerary. Full length, protective spray jackets and life jackets are provided but you should dress appropriately and expect to get wet!

- Customers need to check in at the front desk and they will be picked up by one of our drivers from the cafe that is onsite.

- Customers need to arrive at highlands 30 minutes before their departure time.
