Top Tips
Location
Come along and experience New Zealand’s longest lift and the only one that has been designed specifically for mountain bike riders. Enjoy the beautiful sights as you make your way up the 1.8km long lift for a scenic ride.
The chairlift is 10 minute journey to the peak where you will be greeted with stunning views of Christchurch, the Pacific Ocean and the Southern Alps. The chairlift is used to reach the Zipline Tour or the Downhill Bike Ride but can also just be used for sightseeing. At the end of the ride there is a short walk to a viewing platform where you can take your time perfecting your selfies and enjoying the view.
The chairlift runs everyday from 12pm- 7pm and can take up to 4 guests at one time. A full paying adult must accompany children 12 years and under or any child under 120cm.
Inclusions
- A return chairlift pass, the 1.8km journey offers sights of the lush native fauna and breathtaking panoramic views
- Dismount at the top of the chairlift, enjoy a short walk and enjoy views of the city, the Pacific Ocean and the Southern Alps

- The chairlift operates from 12pm until 7pm
- There is no need to book a chairlift time, simply arrive at the base station during operational hours where you will embark the lift
