Experience the Marlborough Sounds in a different way on a Seafood Odyssea Cruise with Marlborough Tour Company. This afternoon tour from Picton showcases spectacular Marlborough Sounds scenery and offers insights into the region’s thriving seafood industry.
Starting from the quaint village of Picton, the Seafood Odyssea Cruise takes you on a tour of Queen Charlotte Sound, passing the aquaculture (marine) farm. Learn the history behind Marlborough Sounds and the seafood industry, which produces around 80% of New Zealand’s commercially grown seafood. You will also get the chance to taste seafood Greenshell mussels and Regal salmon. While on the cruise, make sure to take pictures of the staggering Queen Charlotte Sound scenery, and look out for wildlife such as dolphins, penguins and seals.
