Departure Location
- Departs from the Milford Sound Visitor Centre, Freshwater Basin, Milford Sound
- Please arrive and check in no later than 15 minutes prior to departure
- Paid parking is available at the Milford Sound public car park, approximately a 10-minute walk to the Visitor Centre
- Free parking is available at Deepwater Basin, approximately a 30-minute walk to the Visitor Centre — allow additional time if using this option

- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a waterproof rain jacket (weather in Fiordland can change quickly)
Additional Information
- Check-in at the Southern Discoveries counter in the Milford Sound Cruise Terminal
- Check in closes 15 minutes prior to departure
- The operator reserves the right to amend timetables, cancel cruise departures and substitute vessels at any time for safety or operational reasons including due to unsafe weather conditions or vessel maintenance
- Minimum numbers must be met for all tours to operate
- Milford Sound is a natural environment so wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed
- Passengers who do not check-in for departure will be considered “no shows” and are not entitled to a refund
- Car Parking: On arrival at Milford Sound you can park at the Milford Sound carpark at a fee of $25 for 5 hours. Please allow 10 minutes to walk from the main carpark to the Milford Sound Visitor Centre. Alternatively, you can park free of charge at Deepwater Basin Carpark and walk over to Freshwater Basin to the Cruise Terminal. This walk is approximately 30 minutes in duration, so additional time will need to be allocated in order to do this comfortably and arrive at the terminal 20 minutes prior to your cruise for check-in

- If a service is cancelled by the operator, alternative arrangements or a refund will be offered

Cancellation Policy
- Unless otherwise stated, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure, or on the day of travel, are non-refundable
- Refund requests due to circumstances outside the passenger’s control must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the scheduled departure date
- Passengers are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation fees and loss of personal belongings
