What you can expect
Experience the best of Milford Sound with Rosco’s Paddle n Walk adventure, combining kayaking and a guided section of the world-famous Milford Track. This small-group experience begins with a scenic paddle across Deepwater Basin before crossing to Sandfly Point to start your rainforest walk.
Follow your expert guide along the Milford Track through lush native forest, alongside cascading waterfalls and crystal-clear streams, while learning about the history and wildlife of Fiordland National Park. The peaceful setting offers a more intimate way to experience one of New Zealand’s most iconic locations away from the crowds.
No kayaking experience is required, making this a fantastic option for active travellers wanting to experience both Milford Sound and the Milford Track in one unforgettable adventure.

- Minimum age is 12 years old
- We provide all specialist paddling attire designed to keep you warm & dry.
- Bring: a camera with a fresh set of batteries & plenty of film/memory (we supply a dry bag for it), snack food, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, insect repellent, shorts, soft shoes, warm fleece or wool hat, a spare pair of warm socks, rain jacket, towel, a change of clothes & finally a bag to keep everything in
