Enjoy wine tastings, lunch and sightseeing in the Central Otago region with this 7-hour Gourmet Wine Tour. Aboard an air-conditioned vehicle, you'll travel through three contrasting wine sub-regions; Gibbston, Cromwell and the Bannockburn basin, each with their own unique soil, terroir and climate.
The 7-hour tour includes wine tastings at all of the vineyards, including Australasia's largest underground wine cave and tastings at three premium vineyards. Indulge in Stoaker’s gourmet lunch which consists of five dishes cooked in retired French Oak Pinot Noir wine barrels and perfectly matched with five wines. The ultimate wine and food adventure, wine-lovers and foodies won't be disappointed with the selection of wines available throughout the tour. Guests are also given the opportunity to purchase additional glass or bottles of wine from the vineyards to take home or enjoy on the tour.
Learn about the early pioneering history and how the wine region was formed through an array of fun facts and interesting stories from your knowledgeable wine guide.
For your final indulgence of the day, you will be given some artisan chocolates before being returned to your accommodation.
