What you need to know
- One-hour beginner-friendly horse trek
- Helmets and wet weather gear (if required)
- 12.30pm departure.
- The horse trek is one hour in duration.
- This experience departs from 243 Priory Road, Glenorchy, Otago 9372
- Long trousers
- Sturdy enclosed footwear (gym shoes are suitable)
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- Camera
- Water bottle
- Warm layers, gloves and scarf (in winter)
- Participants must find their own way to the departure point
- Minimum age of six years old; children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Maximum rider weight of 90 kilograms; all participants will be weighed on arrival
- For safety reasons, all participants must be able to understand basic English or be accompanied by a professional translator for the entire experience
- If an incorrect rider weight is provided at the time of booking and you are unable to participate on the day, no refund will be issued
- Small cameras and mobile phones are permitted, but all personal belongings are carried at your own risk
- Backpacks, handbags and sling bags cannot be worn during the ride and must be stored in your vehicle or onsite storage cubicles
- Experience provider accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged items
- Drones, large cameras and selfie sticks are not permitted unless approved in advance
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
