What you can expect
Go one step further taking our Milford Sound / Piopiotahi flight and a Mitre Peak Cruise to experience the Fiordland National Park from the sky, land and water. A remote alpine landing tops off this up close exploration of a UNESCO World Heritage wilderness. 4 hour total trip duration including alpine landing and cruise. Pass alpine lakes, waterfalls, ancient glaciers and experience a remote alpine landing.

What you need to know
- Return transfers from your accommodation to the airport
- 40 minute helicopter flight to Milford Sound with an alpine landing
- 2 hour scenic cruise on Milford Sound with Mitre Peak Cruises
- 40 minute heli flight back to Queenstown
- Please allow 4 hours
- 8am & 10am during summer (Sep-May)
- 9am & 11am during winter (June-Aug)
- Pick up from hotel or central Queenstown
- Operates daily all year
- Children aged 0-3yrs are required to sit on an adults lap if they weigh under 15kg
- Dress warmly for the boat cruise & don't forget your camera
- Free tea & coffee is available on the boat cruise
- If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather you can reschedule or contact us for a full refund
- We recommend booking your flights early in your trip with flexibility for weather changes so you don't miss out
- Flights, landings & routes may vary due to weather & are at the pilot’s discretion. Flight times are approximate & include your landing
- Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible
- The price includes landing & concession fees as flights land in conservation areas & special locations
- iPads & selfie sticks are not allowed on board for safety
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Scotty our pilot was fantastic, very informative and all about safety first, unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to do the Milford sound cruise but he took us on a gorgeous wee bush walk and we were refunded the cruise money with no dramas, would highly recommend flying with this firm.. thanks for a great morning!!
