Since 1970 Queenstown's Shotover Jet has thrilled over 2.5 million people and now its your turn! Not only do you get to weave and spin your way through narrow canyons you also get to tour some of the most picturesque countryside on an exhilarating 4WD off road safari!
Climb onboard a specially designed 4x4 vehicle with our expert drivers and be taken on a 4WD exploration of the Arrow River and surrounds. Steeped in history, this area features an abandoned gold mine where you can try your hand at panning for gold and you can visit filming locations of The Lord of The Rings.

- 4WD tour in a 6 seater Land Rover or Land Cruiser
- Minimum height to ride the jet boat is 1 metre (3ft)
- The Shotover Jet is not suitable for pregnant women
- Spray jackets are provided on request to help keep you dry

Love! Love! Love! We were so lucky to have the 4wd tour all to ourselves (my partner and I) and Jill was fabulous and informative and very funny, we loved it! And the shotover jet was incredibly fun!
