What you can expect
Spend the day exploring some of the world's most stunning scenery in two of New Zealand's most iconic landscapes.
Your scenic helicopter flight to Milford Sound departs from Queenstown. Along the way, you will see snow capped mountains, glaciers, lakes, braided rivers, rainforests and more, with interesting commentary from your experienced pilot.
When you land in Milford Sound, your pilot will take you on a short nature walk to see Mitre Peak before flying back past the sheer cliffs and gushing waterfalls all the way out to the Tasman Sea, where you will land on a beach in the West Coast. Take off again for your flight to Glenorchy with a short stop on route for a glacier or snow landing.
After landing in Glenorchy, you will embark on the Dart River Jet experience. Your driver will navigate the boat through the braided river system of pristine waters in the World Heritage Area of the Mount Aspiring National Park. After all the excitement with Dart River Adventures, you can sit back, relax and take in stunning views on a scenic 45 minute drive back to Queenstown.

- Child rates apply. Infants (3-4 years) can travel on the Dart River Wilderness Jet Boat as long as they fulfill the height requirement below
- Minimum height requirement is 100cms (3ft) tall irrespective of child age. May be increased to 120cm in some river conditions
- Dress warmly, especially in winter
- Take with you: money for lunch, sunscreen, bottled water, hat, shades, insect repellent & your camera
- Flight duration is approximate & can be subject to weather conditions. On occasion, flight paths & landing locations may change at the pilot’s discretion
