Your Over The Top pilot takes you on a 6-8 minute helicopter transfer to a secluded alpine location or stunning high country with a delicious custom picnic, leaving you to sit back and enjoy the scenery with that special someone or your friends and family. A picnic at the top of one of Queenstown’s most stunning mountains is an experience you will never forget.

Your helicopter transfer for Picnic on a Peak departs from the Over The Top base at Queenstown Airport. The experienced and friendly pilot will show you to your seat onboard Over The Top’s renowned custom black helicopters, where you can relax and get ready to experience a birds-eye view of Queenstown’s alpine scenery. Fly above snow-capped mountains, glaciers and untouched lakes before landing at a secluded spot far away from civilisation.

The Over The Top team provide a hamper full of your favourite picnic selections, including gourmet meats and cheese, fruit and chutneys, as well as soft drinks, beer or champagne. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even choose to picnic on a famous Ferg Burger or another favourite from Queenstown’s vibrant food scene. Over The Top is always open to the most over the top ideas for a completely unique Picnic on a Peak experience.

Once you have got your fill, literally, of your picnic with a view, it is time to catch a lift home from your Over The Top helicopter. For a superbly serene experience, the helicopter leaves you to picnic in peace until you are ready to return to Queenstown. Simply call on your Over The Top pilot by radio to step onboard the helicopter and make your way home to lively Queenstown.
