The tour includes a 1.5 hour scenic drive from Queenstown to the Routeburn Shelter in Mt Aspiring National Park, where you will discover the wonders of this iconic hiking trail.
The Nomad Safaris Routeburn Track guided walk begins with transfers from central Queenstown. Throughout the hike, you will be accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced Nomad Safaris guides who will enhance your journey with their insights on the flora, fauna and history of the area. As you traverse through the native forests and majestic alpine meadows that flank the Routeburn River, you'll be captivated by the alpine scenery that surrounds you.

- What do you I need to bring with me on the Full Day Guided Routeburn Walk from Queenstown? We recommend bringing a small day pack, water, sunscreen, camera, sunglasses and a waterproof jacket on the full day Routeburn Guided Walk from Queenstown. In colder months, you may also wish to bring a warm hat and gloves.

- We are staying at a hotel in Queenstown, do you offer hotel pick ups for the full day Routeburn guided walk? Yes that is correct, you will be collected from your Queenstown accommodation on the day and driven to the start of the Routeburn hike and then dropped back to your accommodation at the end of the day. Please indicate your preferred pick up location when booking online.

- Please wear sturdy walking boots or shoes and bring a warm/sun hat, warm clothing for changeable weather (no jeans), a rain jacket and a small daypack & a water bottle
- A reasonable level of fitness will ensure an enjoyable walk
- The start of the walk is scenic and gentle, with some steeper sections towards Routeburn Flats Hut & beyond
- Light snacks are provided including hot drinks (tea, coffee and hot chocolate), biscuits and cakes

Very professional tour, lovely guides and friendly atmosphere. The forest was absolutely beautiful. The weather was rather unpleasant but it was a good day overall!
This is the best tour we never been b4 The tour guide have huge knowledge about the rainforest. Only 3 of us on the tour but we not feel bored. My children love it Will go again next time
