What you can expect
It’s always 5 o’clock at Altitude Tours. Join a Twilight Wine & Craft Beer experience for a fun and entertaining late afternoon tastebud tingling adventure!
Visit three unique locations around Queenstown and Gibbston with a minimum of 12 tastings of some of the finest drops in the region. Now, here’s the twist, if beer is more your thing then bounce from vines to hops and taste some local craft beers instead. Better yet, the tour departs at 3pm meaning you can still go out paddle-boarding or bungy jumping in the morning, or even fly in from out of town.
Shared antipasto platters are also included, a perfect starter for once you finish the tour and head into town for a meal (or more beer and wine). Travel in style with transfers in a premium Mercedes van, enjoy learning how to taste wine through educated hosts and make use of the complimentary WiFi and Spotify playlists.

- I’m travelling on my own, are the Twilight Wine & Craft Beer Tour with other solo travelers or is it more with groups/couples? This depend on the day, however, this Altitude Twilight Wine and Craft Beer tour does have a very nice mixture of solo travelers, couples and groups. The great thing is the Altitude tour guides are experts at creating a fun, and social environment throughout your tour so everyone is able to enjoy each others company!
- If you are sampling you must be over 18 years of age by New Zealand law and bring a valid form of ID. An international passport or NZ drivers license
- Please note when choosing the beer option at the tastings you will be offered a range of local beers & given self-guided sampling notes so you can learn more about these at each location
- Small fun groups (vans carry up to 14 passengers)
- Safe storage is provided in the vans for any wine purchases you make throughout the tour
- Bring your camera, additional spending money, sunglasses & a good sense of fun!
