What you can expect
Experience the thrill of soaring through the treetops on the Ōkere Zip tour with Rotorua Ziplines. This 2.5 hour Rotorua zipline tour takes you through lush New Zealand's forests above the famous Kaituna River.
The Ōkere Zip takes you up to 30 metres above the forest floor. The course includes four ziplines, a swing bridge and elevated boardwalks, with the longest zipline at 236 metres. Reach speeds up to 40km/h and race a friend on the dual zipline while enjoying views of three Rotorua waterfalls, forest canopies and the Rotorua landscape, including Tutea Falls, the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world.
The Rotorua ziplining experience suits all skill levels. Two guides provide instruction and share local flora, fauna and cultural insights. With your Rotorua Ziplines guides, taste ancient Maori teas and plant a native tree with your name on it!

- Operates daily all year
- Child rates apply (5-12yrs)
- Minimum age is 5yrs. Children under 15yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult over 18
- Maximum weight limit is 130kg
- Participants must be able to walk approx 400m along a boardwalk during the tour
- Please wear comfortable weather-appropriate clothing & covered footwear
- Camera & phones are welcome (at own risk)
- Not suitable for pregnant ladies

- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
