If you want to experience the thrill of flying through the incredible surrounds of native New Zealand forest, then Rotorua Canopy Tours can provide you just that.
With passionate, friendly and professional guides, Rotorua Canopy Tours will take you on a journey through the fascinating history of the forest. They will point out all the marvels of the unique flora & fauna that is native to New Zealand. As you move through the 1.2km adventure trail, you will learn about the efforts of conserving this 500 hectare forest and how part of your admission will go towards restore the forest to a pre human condition. Knowing that you have been part of a fantastic cause, you can feel good in breathing in that fresh and clean air.
The Ultimate Tour is bigger, faster and longer than The Original Tour. The 3.5 hour experience consists of 1200m of ziplines, an 18m abseil, swingbridges, a 400m long zipline, a 50m high cliff walk and spiral staircases! This is the ultimate way to explore the treetops and the breathtaking lake views.
Relive the sounds, sights and smells of a time before men left their indelible imprint upon nature. This is New Zealand in all of its glory and you will never forget it!

- Is there a age or height restrictions for the Canopy Tour in Rotorua? The maximum weight limit for the Canopy Tour 120kg and the minimum age is 10 years for the Ultimate Tour. Please advise if your child weighs less than 35kg. There are no height restrictions
- Can we meet on site for the Ultimate Canopy Tour and skip the pick-up? For the Ultimate Canopy Tour, you cannot start directly from Dansey Road Scenic Reserve. You will need to check in at the base on Fairy Springs Road first, where the team will weigh you and fit you with the correct harness, helmet, and safety gear before the ziplining experience.
