When you arrive at Milford Sound, you will board a 1 hour 45 minute cruise of the beautiful enchanting waters of the fiord (which is technically not a 'sound!). Be surrounded by cascading waterfalls, forest covered mountain peaks and spot the local wildlife in the area. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to encounter fur seals, dolphins and the rare Fiordland-crested penguin on your trip.

Small group tour worked really well. Very comfortable van with lots of space and personalised service. Tania the guide was really informative helped us out at every step. Had a wonderful day. The packed lunch and morning tea saved us having to think about food on the trip. The smaller boat for the cruise was also great. No crowding and heaps of staff to explain everything

The bus trip was great in a small group as promised. The driver and guide, Jason, was just the best. He took his time and was knowledgeable. The boating part was on a regular crowded vessel though which was not made clear in the description upon booking. Feels a bit like a false promise. Milford Sound is beautiful but overcrowded. I got what I expected. Nothing more and nothing less.
