The guides at Discover Waitomo are not only experts in tubing, but also in the history and culture of Waitomo and the Ruakuri Cave. - Check in 30 minutes before tour departure at Waitomo Homestead 584 State Highway 3, Waitomo
- Operates daily all year
- I would like to buy the photos from my caving experience. Could you please let me know if that is possible? Yes, you can purchase your photos directly with Waitomo Adventures immediately after your caving experience. If you have already departed the region then you can contact Waitomo Adventures via email or phone and they will be able to find your photos and send them.
- Minimum age is 12 years
- Minimum weight is 45kg
- No previous caving experience required
- Bring swimsuit and towel
- Towels not provided but available for purchase in shop
- Cameras cannot be taken on tour
- Tour photos available for purchase or download after tour
- Must be comfortable in the water but swimming is not a necessity
- Bring shower gel and shampoo if required
Recent reviews
The Blackwater Rafting was great and I would highly recommend the experience to anyone traveling in NZ. What I wouldn't recommend is booking through Everything NZ which didn't benefit us at all and in fact made things more complicated and more expensive, as we had to deal with a third party booking agent when making changes and adjustments to numbers. Just book directly with the Blackwater Rafting company.
