What you can expect
This four-run Wanaka*heli ski New Zealand experience provides a good balance between length of trip and price, with runs that can prove suitable for those who are looking to attempt heli-skiing for the first time. Your qualified, experienced guide will do their best to take you to a location that is the best possible fit for your skill level, where great snow can be found to ensure your day is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
In addition to the heli ski experience itself, all the necessary safety equipment is provided, as well as a delicious, alpine-style buffet lunch to be enjoyed at midday, plus all transfers both to and from your accommodation to the helicopter staging areas are also included - making this another great value, maximum convenience New Zealand heli skiing package!

- Mountain weather can be unpredictable. On the morning of your trip, the Head Guide will evaluate the snow and weather information to decide if conditions are suitable for heli-skiing to operate. Harris Mountains Heliski will then ring you in the morning to confirm if the trip is going ahead.
- Buffet lunch provided
- Operates during winter (July - September). This can vary depending on snow conditions
- Bring your ski/board or hire equipment. If hiring gear, we can arrange for your guide to pick this up from the rental shop prior to your trip
- Bring warm clothing including windproof jacket & pants, warm gloves, sunglasses or goggles, sunscreen & camera
- It is wise to book well in advance
- Extra runs are available subject to conditions and agreement from a minimum of three clients per group
- Check out the Ability Questionnaire to establish your heli ski level
- You will be skiing/boarding with others of a similar ability
