Hop aboard a scenic 30-minute cruise to Mou Waho Island to enjoy a guided bush walk and visit a glacial lake on the predator-free nature reserve surrounded by jaw-dropping alpine views. Once you arrive, you can stretch your legs on a relaxed, one hour return, bush walk with your local experienced guide to uncover the island’s best-kept secret, Arethusa’s Pool, a glacial lake sitting right on top of the island itself. On the island, you'll also have the opportunity to support conservation efforts by planting a native tree.
Along the way, using the supplied hiking poles if required, meet friendly native birds, learn the stories behind this special spot, and take in views that will make your holiday snaps shine. Fancy a swim? Go for it! Or simply enjoy afternoon tea while soaking up the serenity before cruising back to Wānaka. - Please meet 10 minutes before departure time
- This experience is approximately three hours and 30 minutes to four hours in duration.
