On this tour, you will be taken to the little gems that are quietly making a big name for themselves with their dedication to producing the best possible wine. Here you’ll get up close and personal with the vineyard owners and winemakers. This Boutique Wine Tour includes tastings at four vineyards, a gourmet food and wine match, and a knowledgeable friendly guide. Whether you are a complete wine novice or a dedicated wine connoisseur, we will ensure you have an enjoyable time.

- Food - a delicious, locally sourced mid-afternoon platter at one of our favourite vineyards
- Up to 20 Tastings - award winning, hand-picked Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Sparkling Wine, Gewürztraminer and other lesser-known varietals!
- Friendly, knowledgeable guides - will ensure your clients have a wonderful, fun, educational tour.
- Free pickups (and drop offs) from accommodation in the Wanaka, Hawea and Luggate (Upper Clutha) areas
- Transport in modern, comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle
Time
- This tour operates from 12pm to 4.30 pm
Duration
- This experience is approximately four and a half hours in duration
Departure Location
- Free transfers to and from accommodation in the Wanaka, Hawea and Luggate (Upper Clutha) areas
- Pick up will run from 11:20am to 11:50am
- You will receive a message 1-3 days prior to your departure to confirm the exact pick up time
- Please note that pickups from Lake Hawea will incur a $50 additional charge per booking, as this adds approximately one hour to the overall tour length
- Due to multiple accommodation pickups, please be advised that pickups will occur within a window ranging from 40 minutes prior to tour start up to 10 minutes before.
- Boutique Tour Start Time - From the 2026–27 season onwards, the Boutique Tour will begin at 12:00pm.

- Maximum of eight guests and a minimum of two adult guests per tour
- Agents must ask clients for any dietary requirements
Terms And Conditions
- Minimum of 2 pax required
- Pickups outside the Upper Clutha area may include a fuel surcharge. Please enquire on booking.
- Participants must be 18 years and over to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required
- If we cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to weather conditions your client will be offered an alternative day or be fully refunded/no charge. Wanaka Wine Tours reserves the right to apply discretion in special circumstances.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation by you more than 48 hours prior to departure time, you will be fully refunded.
- Tours cancelled within 48 hours of departure or for no-shows, will incur a 100% charge.
- If the trip is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative day or be fully refunded.

- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
