Inclusions

• 3 hour experience
• Scenic helicopter flight to Franz Josef icefall
• 2 hour hike amongst the glacier ice formations
• Professional and experience guides with be with you the entire time
• All equipment (glacier boots, socks, ice crampons, waterproof jacket and pants)

Time

• This is a 3hour trip with 2 hours of that being hiking
• June - July tours operate at 9am and 11.30am
• August - May tours operate at 9am and 11am

• You will depart from Franz Josef Glacier Guides, Glacier Base, 63 Cron Street, Franz Josef / Waiau 7886.

Additional Information

• Minimum age is 10 years of age
• A moderate level of fitness is required
• Customers over 115kgs and/or pregnant will not be able to participate
• Flights operate daily except Christmas Day 25 December. At the completion of purchase, you will need to contact the tour operator to confirm the flight time that suits you (Tour Operator details will be printed in your tour voucher)
• All flights require a minimum number of 3 passengers for departures. Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum number on the basis that bookings will be coordinated to achieve minimum numbers

• Flights, landings or routes may vary due to weather and at the pilot's discretion
• Flight times are approximate and include your landing
• Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible
• Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum as we will coordinate to achieve the required minimum.
• Clients are required to reconfirm their reservation the day prior to flying

• Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
• Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
