Journey over to Waiheke Island from Auckland with a scenic ferry across to the island before climbing aboard this double decker bus to explore the best sites and attractions on the popular Waiheke Island in New Zealand's North Island. Taking you to all of the island's best spots with comfort and ease, you'll be able to conveniently explore the island without the hassle of trying to navigate yourself.
Stopping at 15 different locations around the island, including popular vineyards, beaches and restaurants, you can hop on and hop off the bus as many times as you like for the duration of your visit. If you're looking to simply see the island you can do so by staying on the bus as it completes the whole 1.5-hour loop of the island.
From the top and bottom seating areas, you'll be treated to awesome views as you drive around listening to the informative commentary of the island from your experienced bus driver.
Some of the assigned stops including Oneroa Village, Onetangi Beach, Batch Winery, Tantalus Winery and Brewery, Mudbrick Vineyard and Cable Bay Vineyard to name a few.
This pass gives you a return ferry journey to and from Auckland, all day access to the Explorer Hop On Hop Off bus, and pick up and return transport to Matiatia Wharf on the island.

“ Definitely a great way to explore a lot of the island! And without hiring a car or going on a tour. Takes you to many of the best sights and places to visit. Although some are a little walk from the stops. Was good to have an extra bus on the route the day we were there to minimise wait time, although one time the bus barely stopped before moving on, even though we were waving it down. If you only have half a day or a day on the island this is the way to do it.
