Embark on a full-day adventure from Auckland to two iconic destinations, including the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and the Te Puia geothermal valley. Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Waikato countryside before arriving at Waitomo. Here, you get to explore caves filled with incredible rock formations and board a silent boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto, where thousands of glow worms illuminate the cave ceiling.
The experience continues with a journey south to Rotorua and Te Puia, where Māori culture and geothermal landscapes await. Watch a cultural performance featuring the haka, poi dance, and traditional stick games, before joining a guided walk through Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. You'll see bubbling mud pools and the world-famous Pohutu Geyser shooting steaming water high into the air. You’ll also have access to Te Puia’s carving and weaving schools, where master artists pass down their skills.

- In the event you have purchased a group tour and subsequently wish to cancel it, Auckland & Beyond Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows: a. 7 – 10 days prior to the date of the tour – 25% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. b. 3 – 6 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. c. 48 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
