Discover the remote beauty of Doubtful Sound on a full day wilderness cruise from Te Anau with RealNZ. Located in the heart of Fiordland National Park, this vast and untouched fiord is known for its dramatic scenery, peaceful atmosphere and incredible wildlife.
Your journey begins with a cruise across Lake Manapouri, followed by a scenic coach trip over Wilmot Pass through dense rainforest and mountain landscapes. From Deep Cove, board a spacious catamaran and cruise through the fiord, taking in towering cliffs, waterfalls and hidden inlets while listening to informative commentary from the onboard crew.
Keep watch for bottlenose dolphins, New Zealand fur seals and the rare Fiordland crested penguin as you explore one of New Zealand’s most spectacular natural destinations.
