What you can expect
Ride two of Queenstown's fastest machines back to back on this combo, a 15 minute Hydro Attack shark ride followed by a 30 minute Thunder Jet blast on Lake Wakatipu. You go one on one with a professional pilot in a semi submersible Seabreacher X, skimming the surface at 80km/h before the nose drops and you dive at 40km/h, then launch clear of the water for a screaming re entry.
Once you are back on the wharf, climb aboard the Thunder Jet, where twin V8 engines drive you across the lake and down the Kawarau River at speeds reaching 95km/h. Your driver throws in 360 degree spins, reads every bend in the river and keeps up a running commentary as The Remarkables stand over the whole run. Locals will tell you to pack a waterproof jacket and sunglasses, because the jet boat will find you either way.

- This experience departs from Lapsley Butson Wharf, Beach Street, Queenstown 9300 for the Hydro Attack ride and from the Watersports Kiosk at Steamer Wharf, Beach Street, Queenstown 9300 for the Thunder Jet ride.
- A waterproof jacket is recommended for the Thunder Jet ride as participants may get wet
- A hat, gloves and sunglasses are also recommended
