Located right in the Queenstown CBD Thrillzone have a range of activities that will thrill any type of adventurer. This indoor activity will make your heart race and your legs move!
Thrillzone Queenstown is home to New Zealand first Omni Virtual Reality station - an omnidirectional treadmill simulator for virtual reality games. The amazing Omni VR is the future of multiplayer games that take the players on an adventure into different dimensions.
In a moment you are totally lost in the Omni VR game, you know it’s just a game but your mind convinces your otherwise. Thrillzone Queenstown will provide all the equipment, including specialised shoes that allows you to physically run while experiencing the virtual dimensions of the game.
Compete against your friends or play alone – this is a game like no other! Headsets with integrated speakers will allow you to speak to each other, even if you’re not playing the same game.
You might find yourself the main shooter in a tactical shooting mission against evil robots, or in the middle of a zombie apocalypse or maybe you’re trapped in a creepy haunted house.. How quickly can you run?

- Can I take my camera/phone in to take pictures at Thrillzone Queenstown? You cannot take your phone/camera into the Thrillzone Omni Virtual Reality Experience in Queenstown, but there are green screen photos available to purchase after your experience.
