The Onsen Tri-Bath Soak in Queenstown is a 60-minute wellness ritual in an exclusive pool room overlooking the Shotover Canyon. This Onsen experience combines steam, hot water, and cold immersion to balance body and mind - ideal for relaxing after skiing, hiking, or a day of adventure.
Begin with a eucalyptus-infused steam shower to open pores and ease tension. Move to the hot pool, where hydrotherapy jets relax muscles and boost blood flow while you enjoy Shotover River views. Finish with a cold plunge at 8–12°C to refresh the body, reduce inflammation, and sharpen focus.
Known as contrast therapy, this hot and cold sequence supports circulation, relieves muscle fatigue, and promotes mental clarity. With towels and drinking water provided and your own private room, the Onsen Tri-Bath Soak is a focused wellness experience for one or two adults.

- 1st January (New Years Day): Open from 4:00 pm (no treatments available)
- 2nd January (Day After New Year's Day): Open from 9am - 11pm (no treatments available)
- Allow 2 hours (includes a 1-hour experience & return transfers from Queenstown)
- Every hour (open from 9am - 10:00pm)
- Pick up is from outside The Station building on Camp street or self-drive to Arthur's Point (10 mins from town)
- Operates daily all year
- Minimum age 18 years
- Rooms feature retracting roof for indoor/outdoor experience
- Free hourly shuttle-bus from central Queenstown
