The Onsen Tri-Bath Soak in Queenstown is a 60-minute wellness ritual set in an exclusive pool room overlooking the Shotover Canyon. This exclusive Onsen experience combines steam, hot water, and cold immersion to balance the body and mind, making it an ideal way to relax after skiing, hiking, or a day of adventure.
Begin with a steam shower infused with eucalyptus to open pores and ease tension. Move into the hot pool, where hydrotherapy jets relax muscles and encourage blood flow while you enjoy the views of the Shotover River. Complete the cycle with a cold plunge maintained at 8–12°C to refresh the body, reduce inflammation, and sharpen focus.
Known as contrast therapy, this sequence of hot and cold immersion supports circulation, relieves muscle fatigue, and promotes mental clarity. With towels and drinking water provided, and the privacy of your own room, the Onsen Tri-Bath Soak offers a focused wellness experience designed for one or two adults.
