Start off your Taupo jet boat adventure by meeting the Rapids Jet crew at the jetty, just 15 minutes drive from Taupo. Once onboard the jet boat, take in the beautiful clear waters of the Waikato River before the fun begins. Your Rapids Jet boat driver ramps up the adrenaline with 360 degree spins, speeds up to 90kph and wall-to-wall action in the narrowest section of the Waikato River. As you come across the pressure waves of the Nga Awa Purua Rapids, also known as the Fulljames Rapids, you will even get to experience white water surfing in a jet boat.

- Please dress according to the weather - in summer wear comfy & light clothes and in winter, warm & waterproof layers
- Any footwear is suitable. Footwear is required on the boat
- Bring a change of clothes just in case you get wet
- Suitable for all fitness levels. Please note there are 25 steps to reach the jetty
- Cameras are allowed on board. We recommend a handsfree camera with head mount, or you can use your phone camera when the boat has come to a stop
- Photos are available to purchase on the day after the activity
