As part of this guided tour, your knowledgeable skipper will share stories of the lake’s cultural and natural history while you take in the beauty of one of New Zealand’s most unique artworks.
Whether you're keen to lend a hand hoisting the sails or prefer to relax under a cosy blanket, this sunset cruise is the perfect way to end a day of exploring Taupo. Enjoy a complimentary drink on board as the sun dips below the horizon, casting warm light across the lake's vast waters. Weather permitting, you’ll even have the chance to take a refreshing swim in Lake Taupo, the largest freshwater lake in Australasia.

- Operates in summer only (November - March)
- Dress comfortably and warmly (layered clothes work best), wind and showerproof jacket recommended.
- Bring swimwear and towel (during summer), sunblock, sunglasses and hat.
- No hard soled shoes or high heels.
- Changes in individuals accepted without an extra fee, if the change is within the same price type.
- Minimum of four and maximum of 24 participants.
- Not accessible for wheelchairs or prams.
