Your adventure begins at Mackenzie Helicopters Lake Tekapo base, where you’ll ascend above the picturesque golden tussocks of the Mackenzie Basin. As the helicopter soars towards the Southern Alps, you'll be mesmerised by the views of rolling hills transforming into rugged, snow-capped peaks.

The flight continues over glacier-fed lakes and the glacial ice of Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, offering a front-row seat to the awe-inspiring scenery. As you glide above the ancient ice of the Tasman Glacier, marvel at the jagged crevasses of the Hochstetter Icefall.
