What you can expect

Abel Tasman Skydive are ranked within the top five greatest skydive operations in the world, and it’s not hard to see why; with over twenty years of experience, Abel Tasman Skydive have it all worked out to perfection. Firstly, they are highly focused on making your safety their top priority, and work in accordance with NZPIA regulations (NZ’s largest governing body) to ensure these priorities are met. The exceptionally skilled and friendly staff offer a top notch personal experience that is second to none.

Catering from absolute beginners to seasoned thrill-seekers – whatever you desire out of your skydiving experience, Abel Tasman will do everything within their power to make it happen. Want to pop the question to your special someone while free-falling? No problem. Want to treat Granny to a tumble out of a plane for her 80th birthday? The staff will make sure it is the best day of her life. How about getting some great footage of your jump so you can relive the memories? Abel Tasman can help you out, and can even hold a handycam for you and film every second of your thrilling descent. They even cater to the personal needs of skydivers with a disability – something they are very proud of, as they are one of the only Skydive Operations within NZ happy and able to do so!

All of this, and we haven’t even mentioned the icing on the cake – the phenomenal views. 13,000ft (assuming you can keep your eyes open during your 45 seconds of free-fall), you will experience breathtaking 360 degree views of both the North and South Islands of New Zealand. After your parachute opens and you get closer to the drop zone, your perfect vista will include two gorgeous national parks, majestic snow-capped mountains feeding meandering rivers and emptying into turquoise oceans, as well as spectacular golden beaches. Seriously, what more could you want out of a New Zealand skydiving experience when you are offered perfection?
