  • Food and drinks - available to purchase onboard ferry (no food outlets on Rotoroa Island)

  • WINTER SCHEDULE (May-October):
  • Wednesday - Sundays
  • Departs Auckland: 9:15am | Arrives Rotoroa Island: 10:40am
  • Departs Rotoroa Island: 2:35pm | Arrives Auckland: 4:00pm
Departure Location
  • Please check-in at least 15 minutes prior to departure at the Explore Kiosk (diagonally opposite the Maritime Museum) in the Auckland Viaduct

  • Bookings for scheduled departures are non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of departure, or for a no show.
  • Explore Group reserve the right to alter proposed routes or cancel any departure in the interest of passenger safety and/or comfort.
  • All departures are subject to minimum numbers, sea and weather conditions and Explore Group reserves the right to cancel departures in the event that requirements are not met.
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
  • Explore Group requires 24 hours’ notice of cancellation for all scheduled departure bookings.
