What you can expect

Set off on an unforgettable two-day and overnight journey into the heart of Doubtful Sound. Your adventure begins with a coach transfer from Queenstown to Manapouri, followed by a scenic one-hour cruise across Lake Manapouri and a drive over the majestic Willmot Pass. Once you've arrived at Deep Cove, you'll board the Fiordland Navigator, a traditional trading scow vessel, equipped with viewing decks, an observation lounge, and a fully licensed dining saloon.

As you cruise the full length of Doubtful Sound, you’ll pass cliffs, waterfalls, and native wildlife like dolphins, fur seals, or rare penguins. Drop anchor in a tranquil cove and choose to explore by kayak, tender craft, or simply relax on deck with access to the fully licensed bar. After a day of exploring, enjoy a delicious four-course buffet dinner and relax under the stars as the day comes to an end. Wake the next morning to the sounds of nature and enjoy a cooked or continental breakfast in the dining saloon. As the cruise returns through the fiord, soak up the final views of this remote wilderness before making your journey back to Queenstown.
