Wet Weather Activities - things to do on a rainy day

Although the rain may ruin some holidays, New Zealand tourism has other ideas! If the rain dampers the sky, don’t let it damper your mood, because there are multiple tours still very much in operation all across the stunning island. Get muddy with quad-biking adventures that take you off the beaten track at Glenstrae Quad Biking in Kaikoura, 4 Track Adventures in Auckland, Off Road NZ in Rotorua or Nomad Quad Biking Safaris in Queenstown. Why not try one of the mesmerising aqua nature tours, like Milford Sound Nature Cruise or Doubtful Sound wilderness Day Cruise. Or get out of the rain altogether and relax in comfort at a Day Spa in Queenstown.

If you are up for a thrilling adrenaline rush, the rain won’t stop New Zealand from bringing out the best adventures in the southern hemisphere. Get your heart pumping with the Nevis Bungy and Swing Combo, White-water rafting in Rotorua or Taupo, Canyon Swing in Queenstown or any of the amazing heart pumping thrills this once in a lifetime location has on offer and rain will not dampen!
